Plan d'aménagement is concerned with the ambiguity and curiosity felt by passersby in front of a space under construction and redevelopment, a place in the making. To answer this ambiguity, Caroline Dubois and Julie Favreau will build various sets and situations suggesting the opening of a trade or a film set. Development plan takes place in a vacant commercial space on rue Beaubien in Petite-Patrie.

The investigations and representations made in this space over a period of one month will be divided into three themes, namely "comfort", "risk" and "dirt". The themes will determine the paths that buildings and actions will take in the space. They will make this space a place in perpetual redefinition: each theme explored will lead to a reconfiguration. Artists will constantly rearrange and transform this commercial location.

From these themes, Dubois and Favreau will build three different sets and proceed to the invention of distinct universes from the same means: the same premises, the same creators and the same materials. The work and gestures of construction and destruction of these universes will become the subject of a choreographic writing leading to three different shows.

The materials will strew the ground of the local with a showcase seen from the street. The passer-by will witness the daily activities visible from outside, as well as at all the steps of realization of the project, as much those of the construction, the search as the spectacle. He.she will be invited to enter the space or to observe from the outside. Artists will give access to both process and presentation.

Caroline Dubois is a visual artist and choreographer. Julie Favreau is a visual artist. Together they seek to blur the boundaries between art forms, blending visual arts, performance, tableau vivant, dance and theater. They are interested in the scenic space, considering it as a space for experimentation and research. Confronting the human body with structures created from scratch, Dubois and Favreau develop scenographic spaces where the body is totally dependent on the object.

Their project Boîte de démarrage was presented at the exhibition (ATTENDRE) at La Vitrine contemporary art gallery in Paris.
