Conte barbare

Book of 25 lithographs

The lithographs, previously designed for a collective artists' book, are accompanied by an original short story written by Anne-Marie Régimbald.

The lithographs, previously conceived for an artists' book, are accompanied by an original short story written by Anne-Marie Régimbald. This dark tale evokes a mythical place, a context of madness, a state of eroticization, of power games, of troubled dizziness...

The prose served to establish a subjective climate to the creation of the works in this group exhibition regrouping students from the Université du Québec à Montréal including : Catherine Arcand, André Bachand, Francine Beaudin, Danièle Beaulieu, Martine Bertrand, Mel Boyaner, Jacques Després, Nicole Dupuis, Richard Durand, Danièle Fraser, Joanne Gauron, Gilles Hébert, Martine Labbé, Marie-France Légaré, François Myre, David Perun, Luc Potvin, Nathalie Richer, Brigitte Rouillard, Robin Rousseau, Sonya St-Gelais, Hannelore Storm, Jocelyne Sylvain, Carole Therrien, Denis Young.
