André F. Nolin

André F. Nolin

André F. Nolin is primarily a doctoral student in art studies and practices at the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is interested in the aesthetic aspects of practices and artifacts that generally exist outside of traditional art institutions. In his research, he reflects on the esthetical motivations that can accompany certain political projects as well as the sensory experiences that are attached to these projects following their construction. When it comes to making things with his hands, André articulates a stealthy art practice that seeks to blend in with the rest of life, mostly through urban public spaces.

He shares DARE-DARE's mission by wanting to multiply the opportunities to be in contact with art and to democratize its accessibility.
