Programming

The artist brings together people from all backgrounds who want to share their dreams in a small group and live a common experience. Dreams, wishes, fantasies, ambitions, any form of dream is welcome!

The project will use correspondences that the filmmaker received from friends, over the years, living in Verdun to create an alternative map of the borough that puts an emphasis on the awareness of the essence of everyday places.

Presented as part of the Journées de la culture, this cultural activity consists of an artistic tour during which participants are invited to collect works / prints by artists selected by DARE-DARE.

A gentle immersion into the world of lullabies, BERCER LE TEMPS invites to travel aboard a rocking chair. Set up in the heart of the city, the installation welcomes visitors in a suspended time-space outside of the surrounding urban bustle. Feet on the grass, swinging along, everyone can get carried away by the echoes of childhood through songs from all over the world.

The event is both an in situ performance and a collective experience of crossing large spaces. These walks are proposed to a group of about twenty spectators and begin with a protocol recorded and illustrated by Alain Michard and Mathias Poisson.

You are invited to visit the artist and take a seat on the DARE-DARE site at the corner of Notre-Dame and Atwater to talk about art.

Through my research residency at the DARE-DARE Center, I sought to understand what the artistic, social and political stakes of the "revolutionary adventure" of the first Place des Arts really were.

In this ambitious project, the artists Magali Babin and Sylvie Cotton will collect the first names of every person living in the HJM, creating a unique soundtrack from the collection.

PASSEPORT DARE-DARE is a fundraising activity that encourages collaboration between commercial and artistic communities within the visual art community.

This original fundraiser consists of an annual public art event. PASSEPORT DARE-DARE offers you the opportunity to see the Quartier des spectacles with a fresh eye, meet 15 emerging contemporary artists and acquire a limited edition numbered collectors piece, on top of granting you access to areas normally closed to the public.

I want to know the movements of my fellow citizens; to see where their routes intersect; to make them feel how, by tracing their comings and goings on a map, one can project oneself into the territory and become aware of the way one perceives and understands it; to show that by emerging, this drawing can bring a better understanding of the city and its occupants.
