Programming

This series of original performative actions is designed specifically for the context of the Quartier des spectacles, and will develop over the cycle of the four seasons of an entire year.

As part of the ABC: MTL exhibition at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, this round table presents the issues encountered during the five Dis/location moorings, and proposes a discussion of the limits of disseminating multidisciplinary works in public space.

For the month of August, Artist-in-Residence Wes Johnston will be studying the work of the Montreal Transportation and Public Works department. Using a bicycle mounted surveillance camera, Wes will gather photographic evidence of markings which indicate subterranean infrastructure and ostensibly indicate the potential for 'work' and excavation.

In order to leave a trace of its passage following each of its Dis/location, DARE-DARE is happy to launch its new publication which relates its docking at Parc sans nom. Under the theme of « De la faillibilité et de l’échec », the experiences at the park and the projects put forward by DARE-DARE are revisited, highlighting the "laboratory" approach of the artist center.
