Programming

Ambul Art Montreal is an open group with members who share an interest in the intersections between walking and art. We explore walking as a creative process, as a method for aesthetic inquiry, and/or as a form of artistic expression. Through a collectively generated structure, we gather together to share ideas and to participate in activities suggested and guided by members (workshops, performances, discussions about texts or other media resources, sharing ways of walking, studio visits, artist talks, and much more). We also aspire to build bridges between our members in Montreal and the international network of artists who walk as an aspect of their practice.
