Discover the artistic approach of Steve Giasson, who invites you to revisit the performances he has created in the borough, near the Lachine Canal. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on and develop new performances as a group, with the artist's support.

Steve Giasson is a conceptual artist who uses a wide variety of forms and media (conceptual writing, performance, installation, video...) to transgress genres and question their limits. To date, he has contributed to some twenty publications and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Études et pratiques des arts (UQAM). His work has been shown in nine different countries in North America and Europe, including at the Liverpool Biennial 2012 (Liverpool), Museum Brandhorst (Munich) and Gagosian Gallery (NYC and Paris). He is the winner of the Prix de La Vitrine culturelle for an emerging artist and a Mention from Cirque du Soleil, awarded as part of Art Souterrain 2015.
