Deadline: SUNDAY JUNE 1, 2025 ( 11:59 PM )

► Independent research residency around the artists, projects and activities of DARE-DARE's 2025-2026 programming: Méthodes et jeux de l’espace : zones d’existences II

DARE-DARE invites artists, researchers, authors, curators and anyone else interested in critical thinking to submit an application for a research residency, in order to stimulate in-depth reflection on its 2025-2026 program Méthodes et jeux de l'espace : zones d'existences II. Over the course of a year, the selected candidate will develop a critical and creative reflection inspired by the various events in this program. At the end of the residency, the researcher will be asked to share their work publicly. The form is open and free. In the past, researchers have produced videos, podcasts, zines, discussion circles and more.

DARE-DARE invites those interested in exploring and experimenting with marginal or alternative research methods and crossovers, as well as those interested in practices of intervention in public space, performative practices, or any other practice that questions space. We believe that creating unique links between practices will enable us to propose unifying experiences that question our relationship to research, archives and exchange.

DARE-DARE invites projects from artists and researchers at all stages of their careers who are less visible in mainstream cultural institutions. The selection will be made by a committee of active members of the center.

Here are just a few examples of projects carried out by our researchers in recent years:

  • Access to the HALTE* collection of works in the summer
  • Photographic, audio or video documentation of the residency output
