Sébastien B. Gagnon writes in the storm. For him, days of disaster are days when we must act against passivity, against the dome that falls on the population. For him, words are the veins of gesture, enabling us to rise up so that lost days are not lost for ordinary mortals who refuse the silence of collective death. For him, writing is a way of multiplying collaborations.
Gabrielle Giasson-Dulude, born in Montreal in 1984, published the collection Portrait d'homme (Noroît, 2015). Her essay "Les chants du mime" (Noroît, 2017) won the Prix Spirale Eva-Le-Grand and the Prix Contre-jour for literary essay. He was a finalist for the Governor General's Award. Jack-of-all trades poet, Jonathan Lamy has had three collections published by Éditions du Noroît, including La vie sauve (Prix Émile-Nelligan 2016). His practice combines sound poetry, action poetry, video poetry and intervention in public spaces. He founded La poésie partout, an organization for the dissemination of poetry.
Chantal Neveu, writer and interdisciplinary artist, is the author of the poetry books La vie radieuse, coït, mentale (La Peuplade), Une spectaculaire influence (l'Hexagone) and èdres (É=É), as well as numerous literary, visual, architectural, scenic and media projects, produced and distributed in Quebec and abroad.
