A meeting with the artists took place on Saturday, January 17 at 3pm, and the vernissage took place on Friday, January 9, 5pm to 7pm.

Is reality in facts or in beliefs? If reality exists, it is constantly contaminated by human vision and understanding. The Pretty-Dorais duo proposes a fictional journey in two parts. Starting with a kitchen in Montreal, the duo fabricated a journey through Europe, Latin America and North Africa. During six months, seventy randomly selected people received a series of letters recounting the adventures of their two "friends". The exhibition at DARE-DARE will put an end to this deception and reveal how it works.

Ève Dorais is undertaking a master's degree in art studies at UQAM. She has presented videos at the Cité des ondes (Champs Libre) and the Événement inter-universitaire de Créations Vidéos (SAT).

Edouard Pretty completed his studies in fine arts in Quimper and in visual and media arts at UQAM. He participated in the Biennale de la jeune création (Renne) and in the travelling exhibition of the event Québec-New York.
