This series of presentations allows for reflection and debate with artists on various issues related to artistic intervention practices in the public space.

The 2-day event will allow for reflection and debate with artists on various issues related to artistic-intervention practises in the public space, and more specifically through the prisms of FEMINIST approaches, poetic, political, and critical practices, that generate FRICTIONS and/or fuel questioning on the concepts of failure, disappointment or DEFEAT. (* The talk will be mainly in french)

► DAY 1
Friday, September 14 @ DARE-DARE
In the triangle formed by Atwater and Greene avenues, and Doré Street, a few minutes from the Lionel-Groulx metro station.
(4 pm – 6 pm) | Words in the Works with : Helena Martin Franco - Kamissa Ma Koïta - Laurence Beaudoin-Morin - Julie-Isabelle Laurin - Julie Delporte - Morgane Duchêne Ramsay
(6 pm – 7:30 pm) | BBQ (potluck) + corn roast
(8 pm – 9 pm) | "Live Documentary" (by Auto-Workshop collective)

Saturday, September 15 @ LA CENTRALE - Galerie Powerhouse.
4296 St-Laurent Boulevard (between Rachel & Marie-Anne)
(3 pm – 5 pm) | Words in the Works with : Journée sans culture.
(Pablo Rodriguez, Mirna Boyadjian, Marine Gourit)
(5 pm – 7 pm) | HEARTY HOMEMADE SOUP + flash conference with surprise guests.
(7 pm – 9 pm) | Open mike + evening of failed performances.
