Ars Memoriae- Les Nuits de la poésie
September 27, 2013 - September 29, 2013The Nights of La Nuit de la poésie (March 27th, 1970 and March 28th, 1980) inspired Francys Chenier’s project. The artist walked around Quartier des spectacles with a trolley full of images inspired by the atmosphere of those Nuits. Walking between the Théâtre du Gesù and Marie-Guérin-Lajoie hall of the UQAM Judith-Jasmin pavilion, distributing to passer-by the content of his trolley: black and white copies of images recalling poets, their writings, their relationship to territory and history.
