Geneviève Crépeau
Mon chien, c’est ma vie
Geneviève Crépeau (eight months pregnant!), accompanied by her two acolytes, sang about the ups and downs of the artist's life.
Geneviève Crépeau (Rouyn-Noranda) has lined the walls with large reproductions of four of her brightly colored paintings. She placed musical instruments (for children and adults), a gymnasium beam and some sculptures in the space. The exhibition announced the atmosphere of the show, lively, light and generous.
Mon chien, c'est ma vie, presented twice at DARE-DARE, was divided into four paintings. The reproductions, glued to the walls, became the backdrop for these four scenes. The audience had to move around the space to follow the show. Geneviève Crépeau (eight months pregnant!), accompanied by her two acolytes, sang about the ups and downs of the artist's life. Her texts, anchored in the everyday life, were full of playfulness and poetry. The melodies, simple and effective, are those that you find yourself humming in spite of yourself.
