GRAF'roulotte Workshops
Thought of as a mentoring program, these eight workshops create an extraordinary opportunity for encounters, exchanges and learning, fostering direct contact with professional artists and aiming specifically to create a collective work with them.
GRAF' Roulotte
The project will peak by the realization of a collective mural on the outer surfaces of DARE-DARE’s trailer office.

workshops coordinated by Rupert Bottenberg and Pascal Rodrigue
guest artists: Krista Bursey, Lateef Martin, Omen -
Spread over a period of two months, the eight three-hour workshops are designed to explore creativity and the pleasures of collective work through a variety of graphic exercises.
In addition to these creative workshops, exchanges are planned to create human links, to talk about art, creation, hobbies and passions, and to discuss the general concept of the collective mural that will be created on the DARE-DARE trailer at the end of this training.
The visual documentation of the murals created in Montreal and abroad will enable the five mentor artists to present their artistic experience to the young participants, recounting the trajectory that led them from amateur pleasure to professional practice. In each of these presentations, they convey to the young people alternative models to the traditional archetypes of the artist as solitary creator, the gallery exhibition as the sole means of dissemination, and the museum or art market as the ultimate instances of validation of artistic practice.
