at La HALTE (Sainte-Cunégonde park)
Isabelle Lapierre was in micro-residency at La HALTE on August 7 and 8, drawing inspiration from the library's books and stimulating a process combining writing and performance.
The micro-residency at La HALTE enabled her to collect textual material (words and fragments of statements) from 16 books to which she felt spontaneously drawn, in each of the library's 16 classification categories. This lexicon was supplemented by a few words seen in, or describing, La Halte's immediate environment. The result is Anagogie Exquise, a short performance remixing this material with the aim of giving it a new, more or less random, but possibly magical direction.
Come along to this residency outing on August 30, 2024 at 6pm at La HALTE (moved to 2515 rue Delisle, local 300 in case of rain).
