Jean-Luc Arseneau defines his artistic approach based on psychoanalytical notions borrowed from Jungian psychology. His approach is figurative, instead of being interested in the external world he seeks to define aspects of an intimate world. What he wants is not so much to explore the world of the unconscious as the mysterious world of archetypes.
