Programming

DARE-DARE presents an installation-performance by Marie-Helene Robert. The installation exhibits a white, painted display unit and file folders that open slightly onto photocopies bound with clips.

Over 1,300 photocopied documents, hung in folders and arranged on the walls: a project woven from the infernal accumulation of images, faces, objects and fragments. A further 1,200 images, photographs and drawings, play on notions of reproduction, updating, documentation and representation.

In this installation, Marie-Hélène Robert uses a variety of staging mechanisms to create a mise en abyme of both subject and form.
