DUOLOGIE I
In order to carry out our artistic programming, which will run from April 1st, 2019 to March 31, 2020, DARE-DARE is proposing this year a mode of action by pairing creators rather than the traditional call for projects.
In order to carry out its artistic programming, which will run from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020, DARE-DARE is this year proposing a twinning mode of action rather than the traditional call for projects. The center is motivated by risk-taking in creation and would like to see the emergence of original works/interventions that would be the fruit of hybrid collaborations between artists and/or researchers from all horizons.
DUOLOGIE consists in forming original tandems, to energize through this pairing and through the richness of the encounter the sensitivity and singularity of the research approaches brought into dialogue. The committee will form the duos on the basis of the candidates' fields of research.
Our plan is clear: to create explosive cocktails of beauty, finesse and intensity.
Our mission is to explore, question and develop the practices, spaces and modes of dissemination of contemporary art, and to contribute to its democratization and accessibility.
Application form
- Statement of approach (1000 words or less)
- Letter of motivation to develop an art project with an unknown partner (500 words or less)
- Examples of your research/practice, in your choice of: 10 images in .jpg format AND/OR video of less than 10 minutes AND/OR sound recording AND/OR short text extracts.
