PASSEPORT 2026
+ festive evening
As part of the Journées de la culture, Passeport returns for its 9th edition in the Southwest. This cultural event consists of a walking tour during which participants are invited to collect works of art and prints by about ten artists.
✧ THE EVENT ✧
PASSEPORT is an art rally in the Petite-Bourgogne and Saint-Henri neighborhoods. Much like a treasure hunt, participants are guided by a map marking the various locations where artists are stationed: parks, shops, cafés, and more. At each stop, the artist creates a work on the spot in the visitor’s blank passport, which is handed out at the start of the tour.
This year, the programming committee is presenting a day centered on the theme “quick, quick, slowness”—two impulses that seem incompatible. On the one hand, the urgency to speak out, to act, to share what can no longer wait. On the other, the need to slow down, to listen, to connect, to resist the rhythms imposed by a society where everything must be profitable, productive, and immediate.
Our era is marked by multiple crises: climate, political, and social. How can we respond to these calls without becoming overwhelmed? How can we make room for slowness without abandoning the struggle?
The expression “quick, quick” also echoes DARE-DARE: same rhythm, same repetition, same momentum. It evokes a spontaneous gesture, a desire that finds a form that doesn’t need to be perfect to exist.

Meet at 1:00 p.m. at LA HALTE (Cunégonde Park, 2653 Notre Dame St. W, Montreal, QC H3J 1N9).
THE FESTIVE EVENING:
The day concludes with a festive evening at CÉDA, where the audience and artists are invited to come together to chat, have a drink, eat hot dogs, and, above all, enjoy a poetry performance by andes a. beaulé.
