spontaneous support

As part of the ABC: MTL exhibition at the Canadian Centre for Architecture, this round table presents the issues encountered during the five Dis/location moorings, and proposes a discussion of the limits of disseminating multidisciplinary works in public space.

Within the ABC : MTL exhibition's public program at the Canadien Centre for Architecture, DARE-DARE introduces the issues encountered during the five first iterations of the Dis/location project, accompanied by artists, members of the collective and a city representative. André-Éric Létourneau, Douglas Scholes and Julie Faubert will talk about their projects as artists and members, Geneviève Massé will present the last 10 years of the Dislocation project and Michel Demers, Cultural Chief of Ville-Marie District will tell us what is it like to follow a center like DARE-DARE, that proposes projects in a variety of public spaces.

Over the last 10 years, DARE-DARE'S Dis/location: projet d’articulation urbaine mandate provides a framework for research and the presentation of contextual and public art practices. We provide an outlet for artistic interventions in the urban environment by this exploration of the urban territory is manifested through successive moorings of socially and politically aligned projects within the City of Montreal.
