While a soundscape plays, a woman posts notes on the trees in the Cabot Square. As she considers the space she improvises a dance that is connected to the words she has written. The performance is a reflective response to the beauty, solitude and spontaneity conjured by a park.

Trained in clown, contemporary dance and theatre, Vanessa Rigaux combines performative elements with her own scripts. Often through collaboration, she produces hybrid interdisciplinary performances that are absurd, charming and provoking.

*Sound mix by Tyler Fitzmaurice, ‘Marching Music’ composed by Cliff Eyland.
