After the displacement of its headquarters near the Saint-Laurent metro station in 2012, DARE-DARE began broadcasting public writings on a luminous sign near its mobile trailer. For five years, twenty-nine artists have been inspired by the socio-environmental context to offer aphorisms, poems and sentences that take the short form of slogan, haiku or tweet. This collection presents five thematic annual programs: spectacle, time, fear, infiltration and meeting society. These texts took place in two very distinct places: the Quartier des spectacles and Sud-Ouest (St-Henri).
VERS LIBRES is an initiative by Geneviève Massé and the collection was produced with the assistance of Catherine Lisi-Daoust.
