Andi Vicente is a community organizer and visual artist whose practice is shaped through relationship-building, collective care, and interdisciplinary experimentation. Working across storytelling, installation, image-making, and participatory ritual, they create responsive spaces where dialogue, memory, and transformation can unfold collectively. Rooted in Filipino diasporic experience, precolonial imaginaries, and mythopoetic inquiry, their work explores epigenetics, precarious livelihoods, movement, and the coexistence of multiple identities and temporalities. Through collaborative installations and embodied encounters, Andi invites participants to co-create narratives that honour ancestral presence while imagining liberatory futures. Their practice resists singular understandings of identity, embracing multiplicity, complexity, and relationality as forms of resistance and possibility. Passionate about fostering grounded and inclusive spaces, Andi approaches art as an evolving gesture of connection, where thoughtful exchange can lead to meaningful collective action.
