Anne-Marie Ouellet

Anne-Marie Ouellet

Anne-Marie Ouellet is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in Montréal. Supported by a practice of investigation, drawing, and the creation of clothing uniforms, her projects take the form of performative actions in the public space or installations based on collaborative processes. She is particularly interested in the standardization of lifestyles, the idea of the common, and the sharing of know-how. She holds a master's degree in visual and media arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal (2011), has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions and participated in events and residencies in Canada, France, Germany, and Austria. She intermittently teaches visual arts in college.

Anne-Marie Ouellet has been involved with DARE-DARE since 2006. She has been an active member of DARE-DARE since 2012, when she presented the Secondes zones project at the Place des festivals. She was a director on the board from 2019 to 2022, is actively involved on the Critical Space committee and is one of the instigators of the Fabuler l'école project.
