Catherine Levasseur-Terrien

Catherine Levasseur-Terrien is an emerging writer of poetry and theater. She is interested in the phenomena of contemporary rewritings and reappropriations of literary myths circumscribing the feminine. circumscribing the feminine. In her first text for the stage in 2009, to the figure of Lol_ita, then to that of Dj Dumb Juan in 2023, and more recently to the autofiction of madness and psychiatric hospitalization with Cage à requins and Panopticonne.  

Catherine published her first collection of poetry, Les benché.es, followed by Copyright de la douleur, with Editions Hurlantes in February 2025.
