Eugenia Reznik

Eugenia Reznik

Artist of Ukrainian origin, Eugenia Reznik lives and works between France and Quebec. She holds two master's degrees in visual and media arts from the University of Quebec in Montreal, she continues her studies in art studies and practices at the Université du Québec à Montréal in cotutelle with the Jean-Monnet University of Saint-Étienne in France. Her work focuses on uprooting, transmission of memory and forgetfulness. She collects stories of displaced people and transforms them into sound works, in galleries or in public space. Member of DARE-DARE since 2018, she has been part of several project selection committees. DARE-DARE's involvement in the territory of its district finds a particular echo in her research on public space as a place for listening and restitution of of collected stories.
