Isabelle Lapierre

Isabelle Lapierre works with a multitude of media, helping her to link elements of different kinds, and to question the sharpness of the boundaries delimiting the components of reality. She holds a master's degree in visual arts from Université Laval, for which she was awarded the Prix René-Richard 2022. Her career has included solo and group exhibitions in several regions of Quebec, and she has shown her videos at various events and festivals in Quebec and France. In 2008, she joined the Les Fermières Obsédées collective, with whom she gave performances in Canada and Serbia. She is co-founder of the B.L.U.S.H. collective, which since 2015 has been dedicated to the creation of performative works combining sound art and visual arts.
