As part of its three-part call (interventions, residency and public writing), DARE-DARE artist-run center is looking for proposals for artistic projects to design its 2024-2026 programming.

Marcela Bórquez
Marcela Bórquez is a Mexican artist and mediator based in Montréal. Her work focuses on collective engagement and issues of identity and belonging. She has created educational and public programs in collaboration with museums, libraries, and community centers. As a member of the Cuerpo Estratégico collective, she has designed workshops to explore reading as a performative practice. She is an active collaborator of the international artists' network Red de Pedagogías Empáticas and co-founder of the non-profit project Avalokita, dedicated to the dissemination of resources for professional development in the arts. She became a member of DARE-DARE after being selected for a research micro-residency at La HALTE in the summer of 2022. She participates in the Espace Critique committee, notably in the organization of Fabuler l'école, and the Pluralité committee.
