Meghan Moe Beitiks (she/they) explores the connections and ruptures between culture, nature, and structure. They analyze perceptions of ecology through the lens of place, history, emotions, and their own body to create works that examine relationships with the non-human. These works take the form of videos, performances, installations, writings, or photographs, depending on what emerges from their process of research and improvisation.

They have presented their work in California, Chicago, Miami, Brooklyn, Wales, London, Sharjah, Jordan, Latvia, Australia, and Russia. They have been a Fulbright Fellow in theater in Latvia, a MacDowell Colony Fellow, an OxBow LeRoy Neiman Fellow, and an artist-in-residence at Bemis, and their work has received support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Their work has been published in *Performance Research*, the Routledge Companion on Performance and Science, Performance Philosophy, World Futures, Feral Feminisms, and the Journal for Artistic Research, among other journals. Their book Performing Resilience for Systemic Pain was published by Routledge and praised by The Drama Review, which wrote: “Without artistic practices such as Beitiks’s, change is less likely to endure. ” (TDR 68:1 (T261) 2024)
