Originally from Calgary and based in Montreal, Rhys Buhl completed her studies in visual arts at Concordia University, specializing in digital arts and art history. She has specialized experience coordinating and producing in art centers and artist-run environments, such as VIVA! Art action, Turbine, Eastern Bloc and OBORO. In her work, she explores harm reduction, restorative justice, and social well-being, and is interested in creating spaces of care and comfort developed by and for vulnerable and marginalized communities. Eventually, she would like to set up a dynamic center specializing in youth and community programs, rooted in the collaborative arts.

Rhys Buhl has been Director of Artistic Programming since March 2024.
