Vincent Lacasse

Vincent Lacasse

Vincent Lacasse considers himself more of a magician than an artist. A thinker of the sensible. He seeks to create experiences at the crossroads between reflection and sensation, science and politics, to make the invisible visible. He is a poet (Paupière, XYZ, Estuaire), performance artist (Centre d'artistes Vrille, Le Lieu, Action Ouverte, happenings in public spaces, etc.) and dancer-choreographer (Festival Quartiers Danse, Espace Libre, Tangente). He co-founded Expo Miroir, a series of artistic events that seek to democratize art and free it from institutional criteria. He made his first film with about fifteen dancers, which was screened at Cinéma Du Parc in 2024.

Vincent has been involved in various committees since 2024, feeling drawn to DARE-DARE's mission to be sensitive, close to the public, and push the boundaries of the usual gallery setting.
